Good idea, but you wil need to go on a stringent weight reduction diet as the C43 is rather heavy.
  • If you install a full cage that's going to add weight
  • You will definitely need some bigger brakes as the standard 334mm are not big enought even with harder pads, so 4 or even 6 pots and bigger disc will be mandatory and will add (unsprung)weight (expensive)
  • You will be needing bespoke springs and shocks (expensive)
  • LSD will be needed (expensive)
  • Oh and I don't think you will get very far with the OE 766 "slush" transmission (expensive)
So all in all, is it worth all the bother, hassles and probably the prohibitive cost? Perhaps you could do a project car like the guys in Russia showed some months back. Talking of that project, has anybody heard anything new from the Eastern front??

190e & c36
The electric seats in these things weight a stupid amount. Nice bit of gain from adding some nice light weight buckets.
Brakes will be fine as long as your not doing 20 laps in a row.
Suspension just needs to have thicker away bars (front from the clk55)

With these mods you'll have fun! No you won't be killing a new gtr...
