Belly pan unique to C43?
Hi
I am a newbie to the forum, having just bought a white 1998 C43 with 121K miles. It is in the shop getting all the fluids replaced, and lowered, so I don't have any pictures to share yet.
My question is whether the belly pan under the engine is a stock W202 item, or unique to the C43. My mechanic noticed it is missing, and I will try and find one at a wrecker. What issues can pop up by running it without the pan in place?
Thanks
Tony

I have never had a pan on either of my 202s. I have a hunch not too many of them are left actually on their cars.
From what i can tell, the only thing it may do is give you the tiniest improvement in mpg, and maybe cut down on wind noise. But other than that there's not much use for it

Nothing Special for a C43, Only one on a W202/W208 that I've seen that is different appears to be on diesel models.

I confirm, no difference between C43 and other w202's and I have them both on my cars
