Need Help/Advice/Input
Just curious as to what you all think the value of a brand new, never used set of genuine W202 Xenon headlamps is? No ballasts, just the housings. I know that they are rendered useless without the ballasts but, I was thinking of running a Klight HID kit with them as I do not want to pay a fortune for the ballasts. I have a chance to purchase some at a decent price and I personally like the look of the Xenon housings. I either purchase the Xenons or replace my aftermarket projectors as the passenger side was destroyed in a minor accident. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

The market is almost non-existent, so it is tough to put a price on it. With what 503 just stated, I personally wouldn't pay more than $200-$250 for the pair. I have HID's in the halogen housings and it honestly isn't bad. I've tweaked the position a lot to cut down on the glare, but the light quality is pretty good.

I remember a year or two ago there was a post on this forum advertising a pair of OE xenon lamps, less bulbs and ballast, for about $1200. They were new, or basically new, if I remember right.
Can I ask if your car came originally with factory xenons? I was under the impression - based on copious reviews of classified ads - that all Canadian C43s had factory xenons. It seems weird for me to see AMGs without xenons standard, I had the impression that all Canadian AMGs were spec'd up in that way.

My C43 did not come with factory Xenons as they were an option on Canadian C43's. I cannot rule out that the original owner did not cheap out and swap them out in favor of halogens. In your opinion, is $700 a good deal as they are brand new in the Mercedes packaging. They have the MB logo on the yellow Bosch stickers confirming that they are genuing MB and not Bosch aftermarket. I'm researching ballasts that can be used in place of the MB ballasts and apparently the Audi TT is the same. I have to order the connectors and change them over to be able to connect them to the headlamps. I buy them or I go back to the Klight 4300 HID's with the stock halogens. Any suggestions? Is the Xenon housing reflectors much different over the halogen housings? Any advice or suggestions?
