Euro Amber Side Markers?

Thanks to everyone in advance. I'm looking at purchasing the W202 Euro amber side markers complete with wiring etc. I'm trying to locate the part# in order to order them but I'm having a little difficulty. I've located the W124
part# 124 820 04 21. Can someone please tell me if these are identical to the W202 Euro side markers? They look identical but, I want to make certain as I'm adding them to my '99 C43 and I will have to cut out the holes in the fenders. The link to the pic of the W202 amber side markers is below. All help is appreciated.

Cheers

Nope, my Euro 43 and second 202 do not have those amber side lights.

Interesting as I'm hearing that many Euro cars varied in option.

Here are two photos of the side repeaters. One with the amber bulb on and the other off

Yeah, you can remove and ditch them if you opt for the side repeaters in the folding mirrors upgrade.

Even funnier is the fact that Americans usually want the "Euro" amber parking lights and Europeans prefer the "American" parking lights.

I prefer the American ones

The American C43's don't come with the "side repeater" either, if it did I would eliminate them first thing.

Naw, everyone here wants the euro clear-corner look. I got the full ambers because I'd seen them on so few 202s. But I do sort of like the US ones as well.

I've always like the Euro amber look and that is why I've always had the genuine Mercedes amber corners. I just recently picked up a nib set of genuine Mercedes ULO Euro amber/red tails for a steal of a price. Hopefully someone knows the part# for the W202 amber side markers.

Cheers

I prefer the w210 blinking mirror upgrade myself for two reasons. No drilling holes into a perfectly good fender and the blinking mirrors make the car appear newer. As you can guess I have the w210 mirrors (non-folding)

I need the part# for entire assembly. I do know that 2028201521 is for the entire assembly with clear/white lens but, I'm looking for the amber assembly part#. Would 1248200421 not be the same as they appear identical?

Cheers

"1248200421" & "2028201521", those #s are old & they are the same, the new # is "1248202321", MB produced those Amber markers as (Hella-Bosch),

for old version of "W124/W140/R129", but MB replaced the Ambers to Whites, not sure why,, i don’t know; if they will order them as Amber by the

Vin #, should to visit a local dealer to confirm that,, or you can easily get them from aftermarket,,

there are "8" numbers, and all these #s related to the White & Amber in the same time,, that’s the strange point,,

"1248200021",, "1248200421",,"1248200621",,"1248200821",,

ZAYED,,
Thank you very much for the extensive info. You've definitely helped me out with my search. I am pretty certain that European models were phasing out the amber in favor of clear/smoked lenses. Thanks again

Cheers

The confusing thing to me is that those side repeaters are completely different from these as they are rounded.
