1998 C43 w/ N/A 5.4l swap
so i finished the brake upgrade. the rears are done. the fronts i end up using a 3mm h and r spacer on the front to clear the calipers. but im glad to say that the brake upgrade was well worth it and the brake pedal feel is much better than it was.

Just need to install my Kleemann headers, Random technology cats, and then my Eurocharged tune and I will have pretty much every bolt on possible for the 43 motor

Already have the following installed:
Evosport UD pulleys
Evosport Phenolic spacers
RENNtech CF airbox

When I am done I should have one of the quickest N/A C43's out there

Sorry to revive an old thread, this is one I hadn't seen before. Zayed, can you provide more information on your following mods, i.e. part numbers, where sourced from, etc.?

9) Power Steering Oil Cooler

Especially interested in the tranny swap, and the benefits, the pulleys and injectors.

1) Evosport pulleys are lightweight & it gives better throttle response, with free RPM mass rotation with load high spinning,,

2) MB replace injectors from (217cc) to (283cc), in 4/2000, and using them with all 5.4l, "ME2.8>>2.8.1" from 2000 to 2006,

i think (283cc) are better fueling ratio than (217cc), especially during load and WOT with differ band O2 sensorS,,

3) S/600/SL600 "722.649", has stronger clutch packs and more efficient upgraded valve body than any 722, pulls great,,

4) I used SL55 oil cooler(as power steering cooler), but you can use any universal oil cooler, depend of custom bracket...

I wonder what happened to 503 the "white coat technician"? He seems to have fallen off the radar for a long time now...

I have Euro/Japan spes. which doesn't have warning light,,

if you switched your gearbox to the SL600 one, you still using "722.6", which is the same theory..!

i found a tiptronic E55 AMG for dirt cheap money, it was registered 05/2000
engine had green injectors.
maybe it was an early facelift car?
green injectors are 217cc for this car?

im curious for this as well.
i swapped injectors last time i swapped engines..
enigne had blue.. now has green injectors.
allways wondered what the difference is.
also swapped inlet manifold with throttle body since engine harness is different then what is in my car originally.

should i swap back to the blue injectors or as Zayed says to the beige /yellow ones.
havent been to dyno yet with the 2nd swapped 5.4 M113.

If you have Blue's, i believe they are "178cc", which is horrible..!,,

go with "Beige/Yellow", mixture will be better..

when did engine 113980 have blue 178cc injectors?
were these injectors fitted on engines manufactured in early 1998?

the MY2000 E55 car which i found have green injectors, car was delivered in May 05/2000 to it's first owner.
I know this car have the hollow square, oil pressure testport seal design not the newer updated oil seal.
this car was an early facelift MY2000 with the same mileage as my car but was sold rapidly fast to another buyer.

Yeah sure, connectors are the same,

Maybe your Blue's are the first production of Bosch injectors,(they installed them in W220 S55), which is the same Beige/Yellow cc's..!!

Beige/Yellow part #:-

Bosch #: "0280 156 074". OEM #: "113 078 03 49"

"178cc" for 6-Cyl M112, they can't matched with M113 ECU E-prom/map..!,

early M113 M2.0 should be "217cc", late M113 M2.8>>M2.8.1 should be "283cc"..
