Part #'s?

I am trying to locate the front bumper guide and right angle as well as the rear bumper guide attachment bolts, washers/nuts. The washer/nuts are one piece. I took my rusted screw, nuts/washers into a dealer and they don't have a part # listed for them. I am also looking for the fog light mounting hardware as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Tony,

I really appreciate your help and this info. That you've provided. Thank you. In regards to the bumper guide attachment parts, I'm assuming that these are for the front, correct? I don't need the rear but they are a different size than the front. Thanks again.

Cheers

I did have one other question. My C43 was missing the rear bumper joint when I purchased it from the original owner. I have the*part# but how does it attach to the rear bumper? Thx.

Apparently it is what looks to be a long rubber section that stops debris and dust from coming up from under the bottom of the rear bumper. It covers the space between the bumper and the bottom of the trunk lid. Here is the part#. 2028851023.

Yeah, My C230 has it on the Elegance package before I bought the C43 package and slapped it on my car. I never had any need to put it on the C43, even my original C43 did not have that lip your talking about. Maybe it flew out who knows...

How does it attach to the rear bumper face bar? Does it clip into place or are there clips to attach it? Can you attach it without having to remove the bumper? Any input is appreciated. Thx.

My '99 C230 Kompressor Elegance also had it. My C43 doesn't but I'm not certain as to what happened to it or if it even came with one. A lot of dust does fly up and on the rear of the car so I want to shield as much dust as possible. Especially since my C43 is Obsidian black.

That is what I thought until I looked up the C43 specific parts diagram. I called genuinemercedesparts.com and they also confirmed it. The front/rear bumper face bars are the same on all W202 models. The joint appears to clip on to the face bar itself. Does anyone have a pic of it on their car? Thx

Well, if no one has it I'm thinking AMG scrapped using it as the C43's were the first vehicles built from the ground up at the AMG plant. They obviously left it out for a reason. I'm not going to bother with it then. Thanks for the input everyone. I wasn't certain if mine fell off but now I know.

Cheers
