Sand blast

Hey guys, I'm about to have my monoblocks repainted and I wanted them to start from scratch. Will sand blasting cause any harm to my rims?

Sand blast is great for Rims, or any kind of metal, done it many times in the Rims,, just don’t do it closely,

take a little space, and make sure the pump pressure is not soooo high......

ZAYED,,

Probably better to use some of the softer mediums like glass beads, walnut shells, or baking soda. Google media blasting aluminum and you should find tons of info.

^1 sand blast is radical for cleaning metal but a bit harsh for you Monos. I would certainly use some softer stuff.
