Hey guys!
It's been a while, I will post a thread about what I've been up to and what I've done to the 36 lately but this one I need your help!
I have been dealing with the ASR/limp home mode for over a year now and I finally threw in the towel and sent in my eta to be rebuilt since that was assumed to be the cause.
I got back the unit and installed it and fired up the engine, but issue still persisted. I then thought to reset the ECU so I unplugged the battery for a couple minutes and then fired up, and problem gone! Ran like a beast!
But!
I only got a few miles before the problem came back.
The problem I have now, is the same ASR/limp home mode but now I have an idle speed of 1500 rpm! When I put the car in drive it pulls the car up to 10mph!
My idea is this: the throttle is positioned wrong after the reinstall.
I've searched and searched and I've learned that there is a relearn procedure but I can't get a consensus on what exactly it is.
So anybody have any ideas?
Thanks so much!
