C43 - too much prop shaft play?
Guys,
I'm trying to pinpoint vibration that feels like its coming from the drive train, its intensity increases when under load/acceleration,most noticeable on the motorway.
Check the quick vid I have made, should the prop shaft spline have this much up and down movement?? is it possible that under power this may not sit central and cause vibration?? or is this normal?. I recall my last 202 had some play here but not this much!.

I can't say as I'm not an expert, but your splines do look a bit dry. Is there no grease inside and around the spline and shaft? Does the central bearing look in good shape (no cracks, etc.)?

hmm, I have had someone mention using a thicker moly grease in there to counter the play, there is grease but just a small amount, I may have to take it apart for a thorough investigation!.
The UJ and bearing look really good!.
Puzzling

Guess you know what to do then. Moly grease will do no harm but don't go overboard with the quantity or else you may end up with a very greasy under body. Maybe good for rust protection but not otherwise...
