Another New C43 owner...

Just got home from a 6 hour drive, CT - MD. I picked up the black 2000 that Jim had spoken about earlier in the week.

JdhertzII made me do this..

Thanks bud for helping me check on 18 or so cars.

Thanks to all the other guys who gave me advice.

Anyways I'm tired as I took a 3 am 6hr train ride into CT, picked the car up and drove 6 hrs back to MD.

Awesome, much different from the E55 and the porsche. It's almost as if you move as one when pushed, where as with E, you're holding and riding along - two very different sensations. Very nimble, very subtle, perfect sleeper....however, it does attract attention from the ones in the know...

We had done a VMI which traced the mainteanance history up to 40k, plus a carfax. The next 30k is a mystery. However looking at the vehicle, you can tell it wasn't abused as it's in excellent shape. You can tell that it was own by an older person as they left their Marvin Gaye, Fleetwood Mac and music from the era.

lol...I hardly ever drive the E55, too big for daily driving, sits in the garage most of the time. Only use it when hauling the family to church or the movies.

Now the C43, will be driven alot..at least for right now.

Now with a 5.5L in the C, how can one keep a license....

Looks like the wheels were changed. MY00 used the same AMG wheels you could get on the CLK430. Looks like you have 18" monoblocks there.
