New Vogtlands Fitted Front Sitting High
I had loads of work done to my C36 New Bilstein shocks Vogtland Springs Lower Wish Bone and Upper Wish Bones pretty much a whole suspension rebuild,
The rears have lowered nicely but the fronts seem to be sitting a little high, any ideas? Used new standard spring pads.
Only have pic of rear, will put up front pic tomorrow when I have some daylight.

congrats Kirkie, you'll love the Vogtland springs, rear stance looks great in the pictures.
I got the same stuff on my C43, love em'
did you do the swap yourself or a garage did the work?
do a 4 wheel align when you're done.
do you have the thinnest pads in front?
I used #1 in front and #4 rear, gets me a raked stance which looks very nice.
if you have the thinnest pads infront and car is still high, you can shave off some of the rubber to make it a bit thinner, don't know how much this will help you?
give it a try if you don't come up with another solution?
with thinnest pad in front I have a approx 0.75 finger gap, rear gives me 1 finger gap, have no rubbing issues, car feels more planted on the road
good luck

More Pics
Great info thanks. A garage did it, had engine mount braided hoses, gear elector bush, camper kit fitted, standard spring pads front and rear, not sure what they are, it drives amazing, like brand new, so smooth and perfect. It has after market lights and cheap ebay grill, I think the front end could be improved, it will be having fill respray to sort out any rust etc.

front looks kinda high.
you must have minimum # 3 or #4 pads in front?
your camber kit, is that only for front suspension Kmac bushings?
any camber kit for rear?
when you did the front overhaul, also do the rear, this will give you great synergy with the front.
that's what I did eventhough I didn't have to do this on my car as my parts weren't really worn

I had the whole lot done, rear was done after I bought it, then stored it for 6 months then got the front done, It had new pads but same as factory.
New shocks bushes bearings engine mount gearbox mount gear shifter bushings, pretty much every mechanical thing that needed doing.
The camber kit was bought in UK, only for front I think. not sure who from will find out.
It drives amazing, like a new car. I love it so smooth, Just have to save up the 2.5k for the respray.
But I think the front only needs to come down about 10mm maybe I should fit the 18s see how it goes, but it really does drive better than most cars I have driven , and its 19+ years old. just like the raked kind of look in the w202
