off topic: lowered my Audi

Started the weekend before, chipped away at it during the weekday evenings, and this past Saturday I finished it up. Looks great. Eibach says 1.2" drop, but it seems more like 2.5" to me.
This past summer, I also replaced both front fenders with cheap reproduction ones, painted them myself in the garage. Friend's shop quoted me $1,500 for new fenders, with paint - not even paint matched, as I wanted to keep it cheap. Instead, I did it my own, sourced out the fenders online, and into them for maybe $350, paint included! That's why they don't match very well, but I don't much care as they'll be covered in grime most of the winter anyway!
You can see the whole process in my diary thread on Audizine (link in signature), but here are some pertinent pictures, if you don't want to scroll through the whole thread (though it's not very long).

Spring comparisons, first are the fronts, stock, OE sport suspension then Eibachs. Second shot just shows the stock and Eibachs. Conclusion: OE sport suspension and Eibachs probably aren't much different!

I'd like to change up the interior from fake leather to actual leather, but we'll see. Also very intriguing is a big brake kit possibility using almost all OE components, namely 330mm Touareg 4 piston calipers, and either Mercedes C230 Sport package rotors, or Volvo V/S70R rotors. The rotors both need a bit of machining, either with the lug holes, or the centre bore. Figure that out all later though.
