steering box question.. Same as c280?
After 212k miles the steering box is showing signs. I adjusted the sector shaft hoping to take some of the play/clunking out but it's still loose. I'm looking to swap it out with a rebuilt one. But I've been reading conflicting stuff about the c280/c36/c43 steering boxes. Some say they are all the same. Others say the AMG boxes are tuned for quicker steering.. Anybody got the skinny on this? Or maybe have compared the part numbers? I forgot the password to EPC and haven't been able to set up a new account yet. Any help would awesome.
