REAR SEATS LOCKING

Need some advice. My rear folding down seats do not want to lock back into upright position. I know there are lock releases in the trunk but seats should just fold up click into lock position. Do not do that. What am I doing wrong?

sometimes you have to push the backseat hard, sometimes locking position won't lock in place.
hold your hand on the front leather same position where the latch is on the backside, just push hard to close.
angle the back cushion a bit and push hard till it clicks.
you might have to grease the latches back of the seat and locking system.

A dab of silicone grease will help. Otherwise like Kowalski says, press hard or slam hard. That certainly will work

Did you put a bit of grease in the lock mechanism? That also reduces or stops the creaking coming from the back!
