The red stuff should be fine for the C43 I would suspect since there is no kind of mountain driving here in NYC whatsoever. Seems like the EBC would be good for the street but are compromised under extreme driving conditions is my take on what you are saying correct?
I am also hoping mine are the newer compound since I just bought them.
From what I have heard, the EBC reds are perfectly OK for street driving with the occasional spirited drive. The big advantage seems that they do not dust, so great for those wanting to keep their rims nice and clean at all times.Originally Posted by ProjectC55
OK well that is very good to know especially in the case of my Mitsubishi which I will be roadracing. I have Mustang Cobra brakes on the front and brembos in the back of my Mitsu and yellow stuff pads I bought recently. I think I will get the Pagid pads for the front and leave the yellows in the rear. Yeah the Pagids are expensive, but then you have to pay for quality I guess.
Edited to add pad reference and measurements. After checking I confirm that the VW Golf R32 front pad is the same as our C43's
