Help with Seat Bolsters

Hey guys another question from me, my side bolsters have been deflating within 5 minutes of me inflating them to max, and since I'm a skinny guy, not having bolsters to support me I'm flopping around like a fish. I opened the back of the seat up thinking it might be a loose hose, but the hoses were all connected. Have both my bolsters gone kaput? My driver left bolster never tightened as much as the ride side, and it seems like its come out of place. So my question is, do I have to replace my bolsters? Is it a day job? And how much am I looking at spending? .

Just buy the whole seat... Junkyard or craigslist sometimes have them

I was thinking of swapping my driver with the passenger seat, and every time I've seen seats for sale, they're always the black/white seats

I have never heard of bolster changes. Search around you may be lucky to get some pointers or drop a post on the Pelican forum (more technical)

Since both bolsters are tied together, if one leaks, they both leak. You could plug off each one seperately to see which one is actually leaking.

I have 2 pairs of bolsters, new in package never opened. For a c43, if interested let me know. No reason to get a whole new seat from a junkyard which will likely be worse off than yours.

It's not a bad job if you've ever had a seat apart. If not, any local upholstery shop can do it for you for not too much money.

Thanks for this info, as the bolsters in both my seats don't work. I haven't got round to check them out (a bit lazy...) and this could be a nice job to do in the winter months when the vehicle is off the road.

It's been a while and I'm getting old I guess, I just checked again and all 4 seat bladders are available seperately. I do have all 4 bladders.

Sometimes the plastic lines will come out of the rubber y-piece, very easy to check just remove the seat backing.
