C43 roof molding
Hello,
The car wash lifted the driver side roof molding on my 98 C43 AMG. Does anyone know where I can get replacement molding anchors? I tried to attached a picture but can't figure out how to.

Wow, your car wash must be pretty powerful to rip the moulding out, or it was faulty. I have never experienced this, nor have I heard of others with this problem. The dealer can supply these "anchors" but at a price. Probably other part suppliers can get you these items cheaper too.

Dealership has them at $5 a piece. I got a handfull at a local pick n pull. They are prone to cracking so be careful how you pull them off if you decide to do that.
Just find a w202 on your local craigslist thats parting out. Im sure there are some...

Thanks for the feedback. The car wash has soft cloth - I think it caught on the rear of the molding above the back window and snagged. Busted 4-5 anchors all the way up to the windshield. I'll find replacements at either retirement yard, CL or dealer. What's the equivalent model to the C43 (non AMG)?
