Fire extinguisher
stealership gives 2 year warranty on these extinguishers
my gauge needle is close to the red, it's supposed to stay within the green field
should i go back to stealership and bi-ch about near red marked gauge needle?
factory box is stamped, extinguisher is valid and certified to 2015
after 2015 do i have to buy a new?
new plastic bracket seems to be a bit fragile, thin plastic holding the extinguisher in place.
older bracket seems to be more sturdy?
i apprechiate if anyone would take some snapshots of their set up

stealership should be able to get you one if you want to have it fitted?
it's a pricey part, cost me approx $280 dollars from stealership
some C63's had problems with self combustion and so did many Volvo's in Sweden they burned by them self in the engine bay, if you are quick to notice the beginning of the fire you can limit the damages with this cabin fire ext.
yeah, pictures were taken after my joyride, i was out driving for several hours that day and it was hot as he-l outside!
i will check my scale closer next time i go out for a drive
maybe the scale needle stayed close to read from the driving vibrations and outside heat?

I agree, having an extinguisher, even a small capacity one can help control a small fire if caught very fast, but not it is a fuel or oil leak on the manifolds. In that case, take your personal belongings and papers out of the car and call the fire brigade pronto! In most cases, by the time they arrive, you will have said a hot goodbye to your pride and joy unfortunately....
