New to forum! :) WTB C36 Owners Manuals
Hi all,
Just purchased a 1995 C36 and have absolutely fallen in love with it!
Specs: 1995 C36, 149k miles, perfect interior, exterior in decent shape (some rock chips, minor scuffs on front and rear bumpers, small ding in drivers door, no clear coat fade though ), stock everything with exception of 18" mono blocks installed by previous owner.
I'm new to the forum and this is my first venture into the world of AMG after a substantial history of Porsche 944 ownership and restorations. Unfortunately this C36 came incomplete as the original owners manuals are missing and it would be a nice addition to the car. If anyone has a set sitting around and would like to sell them let me know!
On a different note, I have already found this forum and those active within it to be absolutely invaluable with tips, repair guides, and general know-how. Already completed a bit of work since purchasing the car a few weeks ago, including having to go through the whole radio code deal... Thank god for www.radio-code.lt right??!!
Thanks and glad to finally be a part of the AMG family!
Cheers!

Forgot to add: Picked it up for $4,700. Runs smooth so far. Did oil+filter, coolant flush, and thermostat. In the mail is a new fan clutch as mine seems to not hook up properly and car runs hot in stop and go traffic (90c-100c) then backs down to roughly 80c-85c on highway. Running a bit hot seems to be its only issue so far. The Phoenix summer heat probably doesn't help either...

That car.
Is absolutely STUNNING. What a great price, too!
M104 engines tend to run hot in hotter climates like the US and especially Arizona. Reaching 100c in Phoenix heat is actually sort of normal. Don't expect massive improvements in a new fan clutch. AC running plus 100F heat means one hot engine.
I'm not sure about that odd silver covering on the tail lights? Never seen that before. Looks out of place. Your spoiler also appears to be quite rare and is definitely aftermarket. Lorinser perhaps?
Welcome!

Welcome!
I'm not sure about the plastic on the tail lights either. I've removed one of the tail lights to take a closer look at the cover and it almost appears they are a part of the unit, if not they definitely glued on pretty substantially.. I've scoured the internet but have yet to find anything of the sort on any w202's. The looks are iffy to me as well though. Might try to pick up some oem tail light covers and replace them.
As for the spoiler, I was also trying to figure out if it was an oem option or aftermarket addition.. Think its a lorinser?? I hope so, that would be neat. I'll look for any model designations on it.
Thanks for the tip on the running hot issue as well. Good to know it is relatively normal for these cars to run a bit hot, especially in hot weather. From what I've read so far these cars seem to get a bit temperamental at times.
Cheers!

Have you guys seen this particular type of spoiler before? Pic of the markings I found on it is attached. Haven't seen many C36's with spoilers

Yes buddy welcome! Glad you got a nice ride. That spoiler is genuine and the non- 3rd brake lake version of it. But it looks nice and good to know how it will look on mine sometime soon.
