Subwoofer install
anybody seen/done this on their 202? I was thinking a kicker solobaric L7 might be perfect for the square hole.
The front door woofer is just as important as a rear mounted sub.
Personally I chose to remove the rear shelf speakers and added 2x8" freeair subs on the shelf and put the amp where the first aid kit should be. I did this because I have folding rear seats and didn't want to loose the access. If I didn't have folding seats I probably would have installed a powered slim sub to the back of the rear seat instead. It really depends on what you plan on listening too and what sort of sound you're after.
I'm too old and don't have any interest in big systems and knock the windows off their tracks anymore. Im using a Kenwood DDX 770 as a head unit and using the pre outs to run the factory Bose amp and speakers. It's sounds really nice but I'm looking to add a little something to the bottom end maybe like a single 8 or 10 if it will fit.
Any way I could talk you out of a photo of your setup?
