it's silver, too...
but anyway, looking at those pics I'd bet $1000 you're completely in the clear when it comes to bumper support and "frame" damage. That was a really high hit, and it didn't even push the radiator past the mechanical fan! you're fine!
also, you say it won't start. do you mean the key won't turn in the ignition? have you tried using another key? when my old keys both died, they would not turn in the ignition. I'd really want to know more about what they mean with "ignition is mis-aligned"

I don't have anything relevant to offer unfortunately, since I had to rebuild mine.
The amount of money they are asking is ridiculous so I think I will sell. I don't know how to work on cars so I don't know how to tell the difference.
I'm thinking if I source some parts and work hard to keep costs down it would be still be around 6k in the end which I don't want to do. That is how much Dziner82 paid for a similar collision.
What are your thoughts about selling the car on ebay?

what on earth are their labor costs? $3,090 in labor? even at $100/hr labor that's 31 hours labor! Do they plan on standing around staring at it when it's done and calling that labor?
$870 for a hood!?!? this is exactly the kind of prices I would expect if you had crashed a 2014 CLS63!

Message to everyone!!!! Do not take your old cars to these shops unless insurance is covering it all.
