I had to swap the harness from old motor on mine. Im assuming you had to do the same thing?
Would be really curious to know how much power the car puts down now because the difference really is obvious.
Like you said, its possible to spin tires rolling in first

I do think that the 5.4 swapped c43 makes a little more than we think. I havent had a chance to test it out against anyone yet.
Did you reflash your ecu or just plug in and go?

When i had the 4.3 at one point the fans were on constantly from start till i shut the car down and it was very anoying. Engjne temperature was always normal too

is it to clear all codes then reset all adaptions to zero then ecu has to re-learn the new engine?
do ML55 113981 engine have higher torque on lower rpm's than w210E55 AMG 113980?

My 4.3 also has wicked timing chain rattle. What's involved in a chain swap? I've done the head gasket on an m104. Please tell me it's not THAT bad.
My 43 would rattle all the time but not loud only bugged me..the 55 engine i just got only does it for a few minutes until it gets a little warmer and goes away. Plan on doing the chain in a few weeks probably. And it isnt too hard but if you want to do it the easier way youll need the Mercedes chain tool...well that being said youll need it either way. One way is to remove valve cover...break chain...put new chain inline with old chain via special link and have a couple ppl help and turn the engine over by hand to roll the new chain in...then remove old chain and special link and use special tool to crimp new chain link ends together. Or the other way is take the front cover off etc to expose front of engine and do it that way by aligning all timing marks...will still need special tool to crimp new chain link ends together

I would really want to get all 5.4 m113 n/a models lined up for an epic amg drag race.(clk 55 w209 and w208, e55, cl55, c55 slk55, and w202 c55)
There are planty of people on this website that would be up for it
