stock NA CLK55 shocks to NA C43/used

stock NA CLK55 shocks to NA C43/used
hey all,
im going to swap/upgrade some suspension parts on my AMG cars, lots of details but i will get to the main issue that is worrying me;
does anyone see any issues with taking the shocks off my CLK55 (which according to research are the same shocks as the NA C36) and putting them on the C43 with euro springs?
my main concern being that they are 15 year old shocks, should i just pay another $400 for a new set or being that these are only have 57k miles on them should they be ok?
what is worse for shocks; miles or years?

yup 
the C43 will move over to my daily driver and the CLK55 will be the new autocross and track car.
C43 was lots of fun on the track and autocross, but a few friends and people i compete with upgraded to better handling or more powerful cars so i needed to do something to keep it fun and competitive with them. And i wanted to keep representing team MB AMG
