identical to the COMAND 2.0 swap. I still dream of doing the E55 chrome-lined guages plus E55 steering wheel with buttons and COMAND double din.

Added a Rockford Fosgate 500W amp for the 2 x 15 Boston Subs. I will add photos of the sub and amp. I installed the amp in place of the CD changer.

I'm interested in doing this too... but I'd like to keep the burl trim. Did you decide to use the carbon fiber trim to cover the burl because of poor fitment? See image for my aspiration...
