Anyone interested in a C43?
Hi, all. Last sunday I saw a C43 in the used car lot of Concord BMW in Concord, CA while driving by. Here are some of the details;
- 1998, 80,000 miles, cost not listed.
- As-is, no warranty (from the dealer, you can probably get 3rd-party extended warranty).
- Dark metallic green with black/black interior.
- Almost new michelin A/S sports.
- Interior looks stock and in very good shape.
- Exterior looks good except the AMG emblem is missing and the hood badge is gone. It has been removed and the depression has been filled in (!?)
- The wheels are stock AMG but the paint has been removed and the aluminum has been buffed, not polished or chromed, but buffed. Brake dust shields have been added.
I thought I'd mention this if anyone is looking for a C43.

Green C43
Demitry, I am also suspicious of the metallic green. The recess for the hood badge has been filled in. The plastic grill shows checking from long exposure to the sun. The paint looks very good. I think these are signs of a repaint.
