Remove and reinstall C43 diff
Hi all,
How long is the expected time to remove and reinstall the diff on a C43, using a 2 post hoist and 2 competant mechanics?
Does anyone have a procedure PDF for it?

Shouldn't be more than 1.5hours at a normal pace.
3x pairs of 19mm nuts/bolts at the driveshaft/flexdisk
6x E12 bolts for each axle at differential shaft
2x 14mm allen at the back of diffential
1x 8mm allen with 16mm bolt at the front of differential.
done.

I swapped a DANA 36 to a DANA 44 in my driveway on jack stands back in my Corvette days, so i reckon i can do this on a hoist in well under 8 hours.

CLK Cabrio
Just did it to my CLK took about two hours to take it out. Worked very slowly as it was my first time and I had the car on jack-stands. No way this is more than a two hour job on a proper rack.
