Gas Filler Access Lock
Lock on my gas filler door is not working, needed gas today and couldn't get
access. After removing all the interior panels inside the truck I was able to
grab ahold of the lock plunger, but there is so little room I don't know if I can
remove the lock assembly.
Has anyone had experience with replacing this lock ?

I had that issue. Its basically a small pump.
Mine got me so frustrated at a gas pump that I smashed it and left dents in the gas cap lid.
It eventually opened so what I did was lube it a bit and replace the lid with another matching color one lol. Never had an issue since.

It's not an easy job, first i removed the truck interior liner from right side.
There is a very small access hole to reach the pump if you have a small
hand. Put a dab of grease on the end of finger and reach in thru hole and
apply to plunger rod.
Due to limited access I have no idea how you would ever replace the pump.
Anyways, that cured my problem.
