Front License Plate
So because I have a new bumper that I planned on putting on this summer, I was giving a lot of thought to the front license plate. I had basically reserved to just not putting it on because I didn't want to drill the holes in the new bumper and dealing with cops, tickets etc...
I found this today:

That's a pretty neat solution. Don't know how legal it is in this part of the woods, as speed cameras measure and take you from the front. I doubt they would appreciate not being able to identify the vehicle easily...

19 states here do not require a front license plate, one of the states is actually right next door. So you can get away with it most of the time, I mean you won't automatically get pulled over unless they figure out that you are supposed to have both plates AND they want to bust you for it.
I was also constantly getting ticketed for my front windows being tinted too dark. Have been thinking about removing the tint all the way around for about a year now, but I also haven't gotten a ticket in more than a year for that as well, so eh.

Pretty cool, I'd like to have one of those! But sounds like it hits the bumper-which would most likely mean it'll scratch the paint behind it. Eek! I'd put some foam to protect it. I never run a front plate on any of my vehicles. I've never been ticketed, but I have been pulled over twice for it. Also, I try not to park in the city because I know they are ticket happy.
