C36 AMG new owner and some issues
Hey MBWorld,
I just bought a 1996 C36 AMG and I'm having some issues with it.
The most annoying issue I have is the Coolant Temperature Sensor. When I start my car up in the morning the gauge shoots to 120* and then the aux fans turn on. I've tried multiple CTS's (i've been replacing b11/3, where can i find b11/4?) and still the same issue.
Also after scanning with STAR, I get:
035 Lambda control Rich stop/mixture too lean
084 Short-term self-adjustment idle speed/part load exceeded
B1472 Coolant temperature sensor B11/4
B1470 Fuel Gauge Sensor B4
The fuel gauge sensor isn't accurate at all, and it is always changing. I'm sure that it just needs to be cleaned or replaced.
