C36 acceleration
So not sure if all c36 cars do this or not but every time I accelerate hard the car pulls strong but after it hits a Certain rpm it even pulls harder.Is that just how the power band Is setup ?

Probably when the cam hits the sweet spot around 4000rpm?

yes that’s what it is, just amazing the difference after 4000 rpms the car seems like a snail before that lol.
Also not sure if you can help me with this, when I drive in 4th gear in town and stump on the throttle the car only kicks down into third gear and not into to second gear like I want it to, I’m thinking maybe a new kick down switch?

The normal operation of a C36, it definitely makes things more interesting! In order to utilize the kick down switch (2nd) you must FULLY push down on the accelerator and you should feel the switch being depressed. My ‘95 has 4 gears total, but I am pretty sure the later models follow the same protocol.
