never got around to confirming this but if I'm right, you can get these blades off summit racing much cheaper

I also need the unit it that's not working either.. I had to remove my bumper for the damage. So the unit got crack when the car bottomed out the a crater on the turnpike (NJ)

you might be able to recover the cost of the new parts if you submit a claim to the NJ turnpike. sometimes these claims are denied, but it's worth a shot. usually, the claim will not be paid out unless someone had reported the pot hole before your car was damaged by it. look around online for the claim forms, just be aware that you can submit a claim to the city, the county and the state. it really depends on exactly where the pothole is. you should research this further for the correct answer though.
as far as buying the unit, you can buy it online cheaper than the dealership. in my experience, mbdirectparts.com has great prices on new parts that aren't readily available outside of the dealership. if you want to save more money, then buy used. you can try local salvage yards, not great in my experience but sometimes you get lucky. usually they don't have the right car or even if they do sometimes they don't want to let you take the part you want. there are some great online parts searches for salvage yards though. do a search on Google for "salvage yard search"
good luck and let us know what works for you

Yeah definitely buy it yourself but you can put in the claim after you fix it. Usually you only have 30 to 90 days to put it in so get it done quick.
