Had the car in to MB of Clear Lake today for an A Service. They ran every diagnostic they had and could not find anything to fault on the entire car. Pretty unbelievable for a 20 year old. Nobody builds cars like this anymore...

I thought so. I know George - I've been an MBCA member for 45 years. He bought the car about the same time my youngest son bought his - the cars are virtual twins. Your car shows the value of buying a car from someone who really cares and isn't afraid to invest in maintenance and service.

I recently fixed two small areas that were bugging me, and now the machine is just about 👌 perfect. First, replaced the stop switch under the brake pedal, and eliminated the annoying esp/abs lamp phenomenon. Probably will be back from what I understand, but it’s totally gone for now.😃
second, the plastic headliner material on the sunroof sliding shade was loose and unglued from age and heat, so I had the sunshade removed and redone in a dark gray Alcantara material. It is thicker, and I had them really pay attention to the area around the two air vents, as that seems to be the weak spot. I will try to put a photo here so that you can see it. Because I have the black/silver seating option, i find it looks natural.
i also had a set of black/silver Cocomats made to fit the car, allowing me to save the original C43 AMG plush mats for show.
