I’m pretty sure I used NGKs last time and have been satisfied w/ the results. Some swear by Bosch.
Interested to hear what you guys use?

I use exclusively Bosch plugs in all my vehicles. For the 43 currently I use Double Platinums
IMO; "Bosch IR Fusion (4504)" & "NGK IFR6D10" are the best..
,,
currently using them in many MB models..

Don't know them but will try next time. You are talking of the Iridium type plugs I assumeOriginally Posted by cm60k

Sure Daniel,
Iridium is really great to handle any kind of "hard driving/heat range/center Electrode lifetime"..

I maybe should of initiated a tally on this one. I planned on going w/ Bosch this time around, but I do hear the Iridium provide the extra benefits Zayed mentioned. I’m a bit torn at this point.
It only took me about 30-45min to swap the plugs out last time and is very straightforward on the M104. I might just try the Bosch out first to see if there is a noticeable difference. I currently run NGKs. I plan on posting back if I notice a substantial difference between the two.
I’m currently losing a slight amount of coolant after a spirited drive and some of it is dumping in cyl# 6 which is fouling my plug. I had the car pressure tested about a year ago and there were no issues. The head gasket was changed at the dealership around 50k miles. No contamination and it cools fine. I replaced the cap not too long ago w/ a oem equivalent. Something tells me the intake manifold might be at fault or the heat hose around the back of the engine which apparently has a tendency to leak over time.
Thanks for the input!
