Swap ECU between cars
Hi all,
I have a C43 and an E55, both work fine, both are 99 model.
if i swap the ECU between the two cars, will they operate with their respective keys?
To explain further, the E55 ECU and key used on the C43 and vise versa, as in keys stay with the ECU.
Will that work or does more need swapping? I know that i can just swap the 8 pin security chip, but if that is the same as swapping keys i can just do that.
