c36 vs c43 steering
c36 vs c43 steering
did some research on these w202 cars, and looks like c36 came with 13.3 steering ratio box vs 15.4 in the c43. curious if there was any noticeable steering feel difference between the two? anyone try to use quicker ratio box in the c43? dont think its plug and play as mounting bolts look different, but maybe internals are interchangeable ?
appreciate any info on this, i'm looking at potentially putting quicker ratio box in my clk55 (w208). it came with 15.8 box! other boxes i'm consider is r129 that has 14.1 which i like the ratio a little more.

I appreciate this is an old post, but did you find out the part number for the c36 steering box?
I can't find any info listed for steering ratios at all, where did you find that out? I called the dealer and they were pretty clueless. I've even had a look on the online EPC but it doesn't tell me anything.
