My W202 blog and my new C43

It had gotten dark already by the time we were done with it. Ill never forget when my friend took it for a quick spin to test drive it after finishing. Seeing the silver alloys and metalic black paint reflect light in the dark was just jaw dropping.

I can get it to shine but its in bad shape and my goal is to do a good respray.
Just removed the roof liner. What a pain the ***. Had the front seats out.....again. All pillar coverings were removed. Had the entire interior covered in plastic. That glue is the worst.
Sharing a few other things. Washed my c55 the other day. Also my brother got an e55. Has a few mods. The thing is faaaast.

I am trying to dial in the fitment of the wheels for now.
I ordered Yellowspeed Racing coilovers which should be in within a few weeks.
Need to find smaller tires and fit them on my other set of wheels to see what size fits better. Current 265/35/18 rubs in the back but it just needs a hair.
Hoping to have the car on the road in a month or so.
Also the coilovers dont look like whats in the pic. Below is a pic of someone i talked to on the same setup on a silver c43.
Have you reinstalled the headliner? It looked like a major pain to do in my C36 so I had somebody do it locally.

I have not and it sure does look like a pain to strip all the sticky stuff. Ill take it somewhere to have it done

I didnt spend any time dialing in the settingsebut for now it rides better. No rubbing in the rear.
I will try to complete the install in thenupcoming week. I will keep the car raised like this until I do all new bushings and it passes smog.

My C43 basically needs all the same work plus a professional respray, dent removal, front bumper, grille, at least 1 headlight, and some of the interior wood pieces are flexing/cracking.
I sold it to a friend a couple years back and bought it back again a few months ago. I couldn't stand to be without it and the friend sold it back for the same price I sold it to him for. He barely put 1k miles on it.
I just pulled down my failing headliner cover the other day, oh my god that glue that's still on the headliner boarding is THE WORST. I have no idea how to remove it.

Keep it and restore it slowly.
I am definitely not looking forward to redoing the headliner. Im probably gonna take it somewhere.
