Finished installing the coilovers and so far I'm very happy.
It sits higher than I want it to but Ill have to wait to downsize the tires before I can drop it to where I want it.
Super easy install too. I can adjust the shock rebound by lengthening or shortening the shock and the compression can be adjusted from above with an allen wrench. It gets really stiff if I want it to be.

Possibly! Were they behaving incorrectly before you pulled them? I have over 313k on factory shocks and I'm diagnosing some odd behavior under acceleration: the rear end dances center-to-right under acceleration and it's downright dangerous. I think it's because of a crash years ago where the left side went up 6 feet in the air and came crashing down; I still have that same shock and it might have given in a spectacular fashion years after the accident.Originally Posted by PJmak

But real OE shocks are not in production; I'm curious if I can find a decent set of used OE shocks to test with.

You can have these if you'd like just pay shipping.
Id guess your rear end issue is related to subframe or diff bushings. My friend had a similar problem.
These shocks seemed fine. Car was really smooth and straight on the highway but I haven't really done any super long driving.

Pulled out the fuel sending unit yesterday and the wires on the fuel pressure sensor looked really bad.
Replaced them and hoping thatll get rid of my check engine light.

Swapped the fuel pressure sensor and sending unit and that seems to have solved my check engine light.
I think the car should be ready for smog tomorrow after a bit more driving.

Passed smog. Gonna work on dialing in the suspension next. Tires need to be downsized for more aggressive and lower stance.
