Couple of small issues here...
I have a couple of small issues, did a quick couple of searches and came up with nothing, so I am asking here.
1. My windshield wiper gets significantly slowed down as it goes over the middle section of the windshield. It also does not do a great job of getting the water off of the lower middle section of the windshield. Any advice on how to fix this?
2. My HVAC screen is going blank, I can barely see anything on it now. Do I have to get a new unit? Or is there an old trick that may bring it back to life?
Thank you all in advance!

Grease the wiper by removing bottom cover. And buy a new wiper.

If you buy a new unit it's very expensive. Most people buy a used one from Ebay. But they are not all that great. But I'm sure better than the one you have. If there's a trick to bring the screen to life I like to know too.

Thanks for the info on the wiper. By bottom cover, are you referring to the unit at the bottom of the wiper?
I am trying to get one off of facebook, but we will see. I asked for pics and haven't received anything yet.

Regarding the HEVAC screen, I recall our "tame" white coat technician 503C43////AMG made a write up several years ago where he dismantled and repaired his unit. Need to check this by doing a search. Don't have time for the moment... or send him a PM direct. I'm sure he'll point out a suitable link. Happy hunting

Flat ribbon behind LCD screen lost contact therefore pixles acts up.
Need to iron it back.
Best off send it to a repair shop who will fix this issue.
Buying 2nd hand is not worth the money if the HU wasn't tested under vibration.
Buying a new HU is steep.
Cheapest solution is to take it apart and iron a new flat contact ribbon.
