Indy Mercedes mechanic says my C36 motor mounts are "fairly collapsed" and that it's a good idea to replace them. Vehicle has close to 150k miles on it and these are the original mounts. I don't seem to get excessive vibration from the engine. I'll probably replace based on mileage alone, but just curious what you guys with experience think of how these look. Thanks.
Best way I've found is to put the car in drive with your foot on the brake and hit the gas. See how much the engine rotates, if it's a lot I would replace the mounts
