Possible C36 Head Gasket replacement

Last year I bought my C36 which allegedly needed a new engine. Turns out the wrong head gasket (too small) was installed by a previous garage so it blew and damaged the head after around 25k kms if I recall correctly. I searched for a head gasket but as most of you guys know, it's not available anymore with Mercedes. All the options being quite expensive, I spent time searching for an other replacement and I believe I did. The website says the bore is 90.9MM while the C36 AMG pistons are 91MM but I measured it on the block and it did look spot on. I even did a test where I torqued the head to see if some material would overhang in the cylinders - but once I removed the head, I saw that it's not the case. Yes, I did replace the bolts and head gasket for a new one after I checked my test results. I didn't get the chance to drive it a lot since but I did around 500kms on it since I finished and everything looks perfect.

Disclaimer: I might be wrong and it could blow out sooner than it should - but hopefully I'm right and can help some of you.

I did. That's how I realized that I never posted about what I installed on my C36 AMG. Then again, I might be wrong but I did test it and so far it looks fine.

I know that usually the actual bore of the head gasket will measure slightly larger to prevent any overhang which is probably why that post says that Elring would make it 92.5mm. That's why I checked if mine actually had any overhang and I didn't notice anything alarming.

Haven't had the chance to drive it much since I did the repair. I should be able to take it out of storage soon and drive it a bit! I think I only did 500km on it since.
