As many of you may already know, the head gasket for the c36 m104 engine has been NLA for some time now. Luckily, Elring was able to get a hold of a genuine Mercedes Gasket so they can manufacture the proper head gasket the 3.6 m104 for me.

Elring is offering them at a minimum quantity so in order to fill that amount I am opening up a pre-order for 2 weeks for anyone who is interested in ordering one or more for themselves. Payment by PayPal Invoice.

Price $450 + $25 shipping in the USA, please inquire for international shipping costs.

Very cool indeed. Hoping to hear more about the hedgehog head gasket.
If its 3.6 specific, stronger and cheaper than elring, it could be the way forward!

I have yet to install it, but it has 3-4 layers with one of the middle gaskets being notably thicker than the rest. Not sure if that’s for strength.

I apologize for not answering as I ran into issues with Elring's production team who did not want to sell the 3.6 gasket since it was specially made for a vendor in Germany. Give there was only one comment, it didn't seem as though the thread/group buy had any traction.

I ended up being able to purchase a limited amount as a one time purchase, 2 of which I will be using for my engines.

I don't plan on selling the other ones unless Elring allows me to purchase more of them.

I managed to secure a couple of Brad's spares, so at least everyone on this thread is set for now.
In case anybody else was on the fence, I'm happy to vouch for Brad - he arranged shipping to the UK for me and they arrived swiftly and well packed.

Glad to hear you were able to secure the gasket from Brad.

Wish I could've helped but Elring was being difficult with these gaskets.
