SRS Light
I've searched and read all the threads I can find about SRS light troubleshooting, but have a few questions. I'm trying to diagnose this without going to the dealer for a scan and it appears that most of the time this is the result of either the seatbelt sensors, side airbag sensors, or passenger seat occupancy sensor. My light was coming on intermittently for awhile and it was not requiring a reset to turn off. When it comes on, the "Airbag Off" light on the center console is also lit. Does this narrow it down to the passenger seat occupancy sensor or could it still be something else?

One place id check is under the passenger seat under the carpet there's a airbag sensor. That area tends to get water from your windshield cowel being pugged up and it can get as far as that sensor.
I am willing to bet that every single w202 had a water leak in that area.
Now im not sure if you can get rid of the light by just replacing the bad sensor.
