I Don’t Get FCP Euro Lifetime Warranty

I finally see how this works.
Pjmack pretty much nailed it. See his posts if you’re interested. Thanks Pj.

New policy kicked in November 1st. Any orders placed after that date can still be replaced but the refund is issued as store credit to your account. If you placed the order before the cut off dats, you qualify for a refund to your car/bank account but it wont be processed as that automatically. You have to call them back and make sure to let them know the order was done prior to that date.
Now whether this makes sense or now, I'm not sure. I guess you wont pay for your next part if you have sufficient credit.
So Iets say your water pump goes bad....you order another one and pay another 200 bux so now you are out $400 but you have 200 store credit. I think if your pump was to go out again then youd get it for that 200. So now you are on your third pump but you only paid for 2....right?

Are they better than partsgeek and pelican?
Btw I was hoping someone showed me that I was missing something with FCP. They do have great customer service and shipping prices. Hope they stop this lifetime trick and do normal sales so their prices go down. I would than still buy from them.

So you have to pay UPFRONT 200 bucks the 1st time than the 2nd and the 3rd etc…..
Seems like a mind game to me them making customers think they are getting a great deal. But from how I see it we are not.
So lets say you need a second water pump so now you are out 400 bux because your pump broke but you do have 200 store credit.
you can buy lets say a new power steering pump for 200 credit that you have and youd be out only 400 bux but if you did this anywhere else youd be out 600 bux after a second water pump and a power steering pump.
Credit starts making sense when you sre buying other parts
