but worth it if you are keeping the vehicle... I still think of "Grandma" sold last spring. Damn, but needed space as I no longer have a garage

I'm keeping mine as it's in that rare combination of so worthless I might as well keep it and so fun/reliable I would be dumb to sell it.

I probably have the worst C43 here. The paint alone is just bad. I'm embarrassed to be seen in it. Trying to figure out a way to get it repainted for less than an arm and a leg

Yeah unfortunately and after 12 years of care and love. Was moving and I no longer have a garage or a safe place to keep her in. Even my C63 lives outside now I certainly would have kept Grandma if other priorities didn't make me take this decision. I have no idea where she went, as the sale was done via my local MB dealer, but I hope she ended up with a connoisseur.

That must be difficult : ( Sorry to hear, hopefully you are enjoying the new place you moved to though.
I guess in a way of finding where it is is through carfax, there is not really another way. Unless you threw a tracking device in it..... (just kidding...)

Amazing work,

I didnt like what they did to the steering wheel. Also I see that they couldnt get get the c43 specific seals for the bottom of the doors.the standard w202 ones are not as tall

If those seals are not torn you can just sand them and paint them flat black and they look like new.

A sad day I'm sure. I'm 14 years into ownership of mine and still have no plans on selling. I just got back from a drive in my C43. I haven't driven it in over a year; I forgot how fun it is. Mileage is currently sitting at 168,950 and I bought it with 107,000 miles. 62,000 miles across 14 years and 8 of those years it was my daily driver!
