Laggy throttle response, off-idle hesitation after MAF sensor replacement.
The car was throwing a MAF sensor code and was barely running so I swapped it out.
Reset the code, pulled the negative battery lead and left it overnight.
It runs much better, but it now has a significant off-idle hesitation in throttle response. (No other CEL codes present after taking a long drive)
Example, if you try stabbing the throttle for a quick rev it falls on its face for 1 second then revs up.
If you keep it revved above idle you can then goose it (vroom, vroom, vroom) as much as you want with no hesitation.
Is there a throttle body or MAF calibration sequence I need to run through? Thanks!

Purchase only OE or Bosch items. They are the only ones which really work without any problems.
Unfortunately, many have experienced the same issue you are faced with now.
