I am not a fan of mods or wheels but your rims are very very beautiful!

LEX, nice! I just came back from Hungary where I was for two weeks. I would have loved to have spotted your car. I would'a snapped a dozen pix! I wish that wagon was mine...
So how's filling that tank up there though? We were amazed at how little food cost out-side of Budapest (my mother moved back to Miskolc from the USA). However those savings are very much offset by the cost of fuel I imagine. I know that C43 can be thirsty.

Is the C43 thirsty? I don't think so.... my average in the last 5 month was 12,4 L/100 km.
I live near Budapest, I have an every day ride to the city because I work there
(cca. 50% motorway, 50% inside Budapest)
Anyway, the cost of fuel is really too high relative to food, etc. But my 500SE (w126) just a few months ago was sold, so I'm not surprised at the fuel station...

you have a light foot.
that's almost 19mpg. I'd rarely get in the 18's when I had the 4,3L engine. Now with the 5,4L engine, forget it! Of course, I love to "drive it like I stole it", so...

light foot, haha
In "test period" - I mean the first 2 weeks - it was around 14L, man... But I think the price you pay at the fuel station is not too much for the feeling
here's a little bit better pic of my wagon:

Thought I'd share some new pix... This picture was taken this past Saturday while on 95 South leading a convoy to the Hudson waterfront to take some pix. Two pix made the cut in the photographer's eyes...(so far? not sure if more are coming) My car and a group shot. Enjoy.
... amazing shot IMO:
I'm honored the stars aligned and it was my car that ended up with it so.
It was taken this past weekend while a dozen of us were on our way for a photo shoot overlooking NYC. It was a rainy gray day. Worked in favor of the shot in a way though as you can see.
Here's what the photographer called "the money shot" after he took it from that shoot:
A candid photo leading up to the above pic:
The difference between a pro using pro gear who's "able to see" vs. an amature using point&shoot gear with little regard to photo setup or framing is quite obvious...

Got her at 54,000 miles, since then flushed tranny, replaced all 4 Michelline Pilot Sports, replaced rear pads (front look good), dealer replaced MAF (
