In the early years of ml fiber optic if was just for cd changer. But that one the sound amp may be on it too. I can't remember for sure but I can look it up Monday if you'd like, those were transition years before everything went full on optic.
Just had the windows tinted yesterday. Darker than I expected, but it looks darker in the picture. If I were to do it again I'd go 50% all the way around.

You are lucky you can do that. In most European countries, the driver, passenger windows and windscreen need to be clear, or just slight tint so that you can see in from the outside.

Thankfully, the passenger windows are all legal at 35%, but the front windscreen technically is not legal.. I actually enjoyed my clear windows for a few years, but after seeing you swap out your rear deck it got me wanting to protect the interior better. It's not Stratos, but this tint blocks 40-50% of the solar energy coming through & 99% of the UV rays. My deck already has the blue hue & I didn't want to damage anything further. I measured the temp of my dash after it sat in the sun for a few hours at 85°F & it was at 176°F! Hopefully this will help extend the life of the interior & keeps things a bit cooler.

can you be seen from the outside during the day? About to re-tint mine, but haven't decided what % to use yet.
Took off the front spacers. They were causing vibration. I think it actually looks better like this. et35 18x8.5 on front and et25 18x9.5 rear. Also have my knock off center caps on. 3 of them sit perfect, one not so perfect but I'm happy with all four for $10. My AMG stickers flew off the rear wheels. Will email seller and see if he can replace.
