Daniel, Efifty thanks guys, Purchased this C36 to use its engine in the 190e/getrag project...but after giving it a wash I just couldn't bring myself to it , need to find a wrecked one!.

nope. i went to the northern NJ MB club end of year bbq this year. it was OK. older crowd, most people i spoke to didnt know much about cars, much less AMG, with the exception of just 1 or 2 present. dont get me wrong, everyone there was nice as pie. they mentioned the june jamborie which is sponsered by MBUSA draws a lot more cars and also some exotics from HQ. we had a vote on the cars, which i thought were poorly categorized but even the car that should have won best in show didnt (not mine). they are all old time friends and vote for each others cars. i guess a lot of car shows are like tht though

I checked on instagram and seen that there is an active chapter in NJ "NJBENZUNITED". I know the PA chapter has meets and its a diverse crowd, mostly young 35 and younger. You can follow them as i do, and they will post when the meets are happening.

1998 C43 AMG, 2000 Audi S4, 2001 Audi S4, 2007 Subaru Forester XT
Here is my 1998 C43 AMG that I just picked up 2 weeks ago. It has 137k miles, and lots of documented maintenance by the 4 previous owners (CarFax and receipts). The car spent 15 years in Pennsylvania/New Jersey, and the last 5 years in Texas. The car is a blast, and is going in to Eurocharged Austin for service tomorrow. My PPI flagged a few items that need my attention, but overall the car is solid.
Wheels: Bremmer Kraft BR09 in 18x8/9 with a 225/40/18 and a 255/35/18 Conti DWS tire.
