i bought my c43 bone stock 5 months ago.
here she is as of yesterday. sorry i took this photo on my blackberry:
just got my new 18x8/18x9 monoblocks on.
i've done a few other minor things to it: matte cf wrapped door pillars, k&n intake filters, custom y-pipe that deletes the resonator, clear corners, dvd in-dash, amg flat badge, hid fog lights, and a black maple "v8" shift knob
new suspension arrives this friday, i can't wait to lower it

Yeah man, where did you get the 18" Monoblocs? They are getting harder and harder to find. I've been surving the 5x112 forums on VWVortex, and the classifieds here and on Benzworld, but they don't always show up.

yup. they are indeed authentic!
i'd been searching for over 3 months on craigslist, ebay (after several unsuccessful bidding wars and sniper wars - haha), and forums.
i lucked out when an older gentleman who had been storing them after he wrecked his 01 E55 decided to post these along with E55 suspension up for sale on craigslist
i responded minutes after he posted them and swooped them up!
oh and the pillars are wrapped in 3M CF vinyl

i got my pieces from my friend who had it already.
but this is what i found: http://www.carbonfabricsource.com
i also heard about a company called Carbon Guard that sells a fabric version, supposed to be more durable than the 3M Di-Noc CF vinyl. i'd look into that as well.

Got my spring compressors Wednesday, springs went in after work on Thurs . Took about 2-3hrs in the driveway, I'm so happy!
It is rediculously PLANTED on the twisties, I'm getting a lot of looks now.
Eibach Springs
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Bump pads were stock I think? Front: 25 Rear: 20
Stock stagged wheel/tire
It needs to be washed badly but I'm just to excited I had to share!
Also, I put my "good" set of Monos on. Hankook K110s in the rear and Potenza RE760s up front. I polished the lips on the Monos, hard to not look at them when they go by .

BAH! I was hoping I could slip by the enthusiasts.... I need to buy a hanger bolt for the drivers side. Had to drop the WHOLE exhaust from the headers back to get the 02's out with an impact gun, on reassembly the last bolt appeared to have escaped into the grass .

Exhaust has a nice snarl to it, I like!! I will be removing my resonator asap!

I deleted my resonator and honestly the sound didn't change that much. I'm happy to have lost the 10 - 15 lbs that the resonator weighed, but I was hoping it was going to be a little bit louder. I started my car without the cat back on and major kudos to AMG for how much sound that single muffler out back is able to capture.
