I also found this face dial for my car from a butchered C43!
This mod will grow alot of hair on my chest and back!
It might be for sale if you wanna give me your kidney and your spleene
2gether!
It was a ***** to finnd this 300 KM/H face dial.
It's still in it's box unopened.

Old skool Alfa and a Ferrari 400/412 in your garage too? More deets on those!
I used to hate the Ferrari 400, the shape just didn't agree with me. Then I saw it some more, came across some at Cars and Coffee in Irvine when I went down there on holiday a few years back, and now I love it. Very 70s cool. You know you are in a performance car when the MPG is less than the cylinder count....

how did you manage to get the yello stripe around the wheel, looks cool!
I've seen another black AMG C43 with a red stripe on dudes AMG wheels.
were your rims painted afterwards with this stripe?

Had my SS brakelines installed today.
Goodridge perfect match and fittings!
To bad I don't feel any difference with the new lines?
Still have the tiny dead feel before the brakes bites!
Stock rotors
Portersfield R4S
Goodridge brakelines
Parts number for Goodridge application is TME0820-4C made for 210 E55
Perfect fittings!

The Alfa Romeo is a 57 giulietta spider (strictly a race car), both my father and I will race her once this economy starts to see a turn for the better, however we are planning to get a race in by the end of this year at either laguna or sears. We just missed the historics race at sears point (Infineon) this past weekend (it was a great showing with some beautiful cars). On the West Coast and in the Alfa world, she is most commonly known as Sophia, driven by Al Leake, look her up on google images if your interested in seeing her, she is number 69. The story behind this car is one of a kind, The winningest Alfa Romeo race car on the west coast, if not the country.
Im glad to hear another car enthusiast have respect for the 400's, we get laughed at by the ferrari world, but if you ask me it really is a pretty car.

Reign, VERY nice looking c36. I really like the look!
I noticed on your C-pillar you have a little wrinkle in the paint, I have the exact same thing on my 36. Is this a common flaw on our 202's guys?

I realized after a while why I liked the 400/412...it's because the nose reminds me of the Daytona. Funny story too - I didn't initially like the Daytona either....
From my brief conversation with a few of the 400/412 owners at Cars and Coffee, they said that one could pick up a 400 for maybe US$25k. Not too bad to get into a 12 cylinder Ferrari.
But I think if I ever get a Ferrari, I will have to go with the shape that defined Ferrari for me in the '90s (and my teenage years) - the 355.

Thankyou much. The toys are my father's. It is an 86 412, ORIGINAL 5 speed (Its just a big Alfa Romeo haaha). As far as we know, after visiting the Ferrari factory and looking through history records of the factory in the 70's through the 80's, it is the ONLY red(exterior) and tan(interior) original 5 speed ever imported into the United States. For anyone who doesnt understand the rarity of the 5 speed, it is that when the 400 series was introduced by Ferrari they original produced them only with the automatic gear box, then the 412 came after the 400i and it was the same case. The 412 auto was our first ferrari and you just couldn't drive it! (It had to be exchanged for a 5 speed) And I agree, the body style isnt the prettiest that Ferrari has ever made, but it grows on you, it really is a very neat car, worth much more than they are actually sold for these days, in my mind, that is if you can find one that has been looked after and not neglected. I mean you cant go wrong with a front engine v12, right? I have two younger brothers so for our family its the perfect Italian sports car to go to soccer games in and such... Most recently due to the economy we had to part ways with our 365 gtb/4. That baby was an absolute beaut, will never forget that car! However when one goes it makes room for another right.....as of now a 512 bbi is in our future, we hope

I have the goodridge SS lines in my car. You won't feel much in daily driving, but you will feel it if you drive your car hard for extended periods of time (at the track). They won't expand like factory. I've been using goodridge lines in all of my cars for years now. I love them.

Funny you mention the 355, that is exactly the car that defined ferrari for me! Tubi exhaust on that thing! OMFG! HMMM, funny, our 202 amg brakes are a bit better hehehe just a liitle fun fact I like to brag about
But I dont know about 50k for that car, must have had some issues. Last I checked they are still a 75k to high 90k car. But maybe they have depreciated even more

haha yeah thats about the ballpark price for a 400/412. With the stick one just recently sold (with not the most appealing color combo) for closer to 40k if i'm not mistaken....

The 365 GTB/4 is an excellent and civilized car with a firmly planted feeling as you travel at high speed. The overall build quality of the B/4 is amazing with perfect door fit and a Mercedes-Benz like solid feel. The visibility out of the car is tremendous and the car is a breeze to drive with power steering and great driving position. The engine noise and power is addictive especially when lugging the car through town or out of the door yard when you can take advantage of the low end torque. However, the car does feel a bit like a German luxury car, a great drive that is not particularly thrilling because it does everything so well, even the power steering is direct and does not feel “numb” as other Ferraris with power assist steering. It is truly a car that needs to be driven for hundreds of miles to appreciate how wonderful the car really is.

overall for daily driving and normal use this is a worthless mod?
just waste of money!
but when the day comes and they are needed for performance, maybe we should be happy to have them installed already.
to bad these days are rare.
happy driving
